I was first introduced to the concept of floating a few years ago by my life partner, Timmy, when he got me a gift card to Still Life Massage and Float. I was a little nervous at first but quickly, I began to relax and enjoy the feeling of no gravity, no sound, and no light; just me. I’m hooked.
Everyone always has a reason not to do something but I always have a reason to float. If my back hurts, or my mind is too cluttered to focus, or I’m feeling sad or funky, or I just want to take time to stop, breath and focus on myself: I make time to float.
Honestly, this is the first time I instantly love coming to work because I know I’m just helping people with their healing journey and that’s all!
