Roberta has been practicing massage therapy since graduating from Carrington College’s massage program in 2013. The majority of her massage career has been focused in and around Seattle, Washington, and she has just moved to Bellingham to be near her family.
Her massage career covers a wide range of settings and modalities, including: clinical treatment work at a medical massage setting, sports massage with semi-professional athletes, spa services in a remote Alaskan resort, and injury recovery for work and car accidents in a chiropractic clinic. Prior to her massage career, Roberta spent several years in a high-stress government office job, and she learned firsthand how much of an effect mental and emotional stress can have on the body, as well as how restorative a good massage session can be. Each massage is an opportunity for Roberta to develop a personalized experience, combining relaxing techniques and effective treatment work, so that whether the goal is to feel better, relax, prepare for upcoming athletic events, or move towards healing an injury, clients will leave feeling rejuvenated and more in touch with their bodies.
Outside of the massage studio, Roberta loves reading, cooking, hiking, and learning.
