As a medical massage therapist, I have the honor of co-creating with my clients, an experience of physical relief and relaxation, from chronic and acute pain and injury.
Originally trained at Health Enrichment Center in Lapeer, Michigan in 1990, I moved to Seattle, receiving my Massage Therapy License in 1991. I became certified as a Body Talk Practitioner in 2010 and since then, have been incorporating diverse, holistic approaches in my therapeutic work. I invite, and coach, breath awareness, and use a range of pressure from very light to deep, based on neuro-feedback, and welcome all ages for treatment. A co-creative process empowers you to continue with home-treatments as needed, so that healing can be fostered between massage sessions.
Expanding my skills in the holistic healing arts is one of my greatest life-long adventures. To me, these also include playing music and expressing through movement, creating visual art, and exploring intuitive cooking! I believe creative self-expression can be a tool for healing on every level.
I feel very fortunate to offer my therapeutic skills at Still Life Massage and Float, where it truly is a nurturing, safe, and peaceful environment. A place where the body and mind can truly rest into healing.
