If I’m not working you’ll find me in nature with my camera. I’ll probably be by a river or lake, as water heals the soul.
After several years as a mentor and life coach to individuals with mental illness, I began focusing on my own wellness. Inspired by a lower back injury when I was a young adult, and wanting to expand my reach of healing, I studied Massage at Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts, followed by practice in a spa and sports recovery clinic. Massage allows me to bring happiness and wholeness to each and every appointment.
With a background in both Spa and Therapeutic massage, the best way to describe my massage is mindful communication. Through “just right” compression, I let your muscles know they are safe. Swedish strokes tell them they can relax. Myofascial Release says it’s time for change. Trigger point work unwinds tissue in tendons and muscles allowing them to lengthen. I understand how each client and their specific set of goals requires a unique conversation and I’m looking forward to having one with you.
